There's more to every person than their struggles and more to every behavior than what we see on the surface. As a former teacher and foster parent, I haven't just studied family challenges. I've lived them. I know what it's like to feel exhausted and misunderstood.
I have a special heart for children and teens with big emotions and big behaviors, and families navigating conflict, adoption, out-of-home placement, and neurodivergence. I'm equally passionate about helping adults create meaningful change.
My approach is rooted in relationships but focused on action. You bring your strengths, experiences, and goals; I bring interventions, guidance, and support. You're the agent of change, but you're not alone. You don't need all the answers. Just ready enough to begin, and we'll take the next steps together.

At Roots & Rhythms Counseling, I work with children, teens, adults, and families navigating anxiety, depression, loss, trauma, identity, and life changes.
I welcome families who want to spend less time in conflict and more time feeling connected. I also support youth and families involved with child welfare or juvenile justice systems.
Together, we’ll build on your strengths, find your rhythm, and work toward changes that feel meaningful in your everyday life, with your voice and values guiding the process.
